Some peope have said I resemble Natalie Wood. While I would love to agree in complete honesty Natalie has a certain poise and innocence that eludes me. Not that I don't have poise, just a different style. Innocence on the other hand, you either have it or you don't. Natalie had it.

We will probably never know what happened that fateful night in November 1981 but it is unanimously agreed the world lost a star. Although Natalie has been dead for twenty-seven years her memory lives on and her image continues to shine.  I keep scouring the web for more pictures of Natalie. I love reading personal stories about her. Dying relatively young, she still managed to live an incredibly full and glamorous life. She lives on solely due to her beauty, charm and charisma. There is a website devoted to her, it is an excellent tribute with many photos and stories:

In my humble opinion she embodies the very best of womanhood, motherhood, beauty and grace. Her connection to her children never stopped. Courtney, Natalie’s youngest daughter, recalls dreaming of her mother. She says:

"A lot of times, in my dreams for instance, she’ll come back and I’ll just think, ‘Oh God, you’re here. Where have you been?’ and she hasn’t been dead, she’s been somewhere else."

That makes me cry every time I read it.

Although mesmerized by her charms, it would be wrong for me not to mention her talent as an actress and the vast number of roles she played in motion pictures. Natalie received Academy Award Nominations in Rebel Without A Cause (1955), Splendor In The Grass (1961) and  Love With the Proper Stranger (1963).

I love looking at her photos, and how Natalie's face subtly changed over time. She was always real looking, never over-glamorized. A total inspiration.
