My work is becoming more and more autobiographical. "Family Meeting" is about the distance between myself and my family, especially after disclosing my gender plan. "Fucked Up Planet" came after a long commute home one night and it suddenly dawned on me, "we totally fucked this place up." "Sir" is a play on words, in that it starts "I am a girl I am a girl" and ends with "Am I a girl?" It came to me after being called "Sir" during my transition and I vowed never to let that happen again.

My chess drawings are based on my opening repetoir. I was a tournament-level chess player at one time. I still love the game. Sometimes after a session, I play some of my clients in a quick game. I always kick their ass.
