Cindy Sherman

I have been a huge fan of Cindy Sherman's art since first seeing her photographs in college. Her "film stills" cracked me up at first, until I realized they were all self-portraits. Then I realized she was doing something very interesting. It's quite amazing to see all the different looks she is able to capture within herself.

Perhaps my favorite photographs are the "body parts", which in fact are not body parts at all but a combination of prosthetic parts, mannequin pieces and sexual aids.
